Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Signature Drive, including private chauffeur services, hourly bookings, airport transfers, intercity transfers and related services such as arranging professional guides.

By requesting, confirming or using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.


1. Services

Signature Drive provides private chauffeur services in and from Amsterdam, including but not limited to:

  • Hourly chauffeur bookings
  • Airport transfers
  • Intercity transfers
  • Private day arrangements
  • Chauffeur services for sightseeing, business appointments, shopping, restaurants and events
  • Arrangements with professional guides upon request

Services are subject to availability.

2. Booking requests

A request submitted through the website, by email, by phone, by WhatsApp, through a concierge, hotel or travel advisor is not yet a confirmed booking.

A booking is only confirmed once Signature Drive has accepted the request in writing and, where applicable, payment or deposit requirements have been met.

Signature Drive may refuse a booking request at its discretion.

3. Prices

Prices are communicated in advance and may depend on the type of service, duration, vehicle type, route, date, time and any additional arrangements.

Unless stated otherwise, prices do not include:

  • Parking costs
  • Tolls
  • Waiting time beyond the agreed period
  • Additional hours
  • Entrance tickets
  • Meals and drinks
  • Guide fees
  • Accommodation costs
  • Special requests
  • Costs caused by changes to the itinerary

Extra time is charged according to the agreed hourly rate or, if no rate has been agreed, according to the standard rate communicated by Signature Drive.

4. Payment

Payment terms are communicated with the booking confirmation.

Signature Drive may require full payment or a deposit before confirming or performing a booking.

If payment has not been received on time, Signature Drive may suspend or cancel the booking.

For business clients, hotels, concierges or travel agencies, separate invoice arrangements may be agreed in writing.

5. Hourly bookings

For hourly bookings, the booked time starts at the agreed pick-up time, unless agreed otherwise in writing.

The booked time includes driving time, waiting time and time reserved for the client.

If the service exceeds the booked duration, additional time may be charged.

Unused booked time is not refunded.

6. Airport transfers

For airport transfers, the client is responsible for providing correct flight details.

Signature Drive will make reasonable efforts to monitor flight arrival times where flight details have been provided.

Unless agreed otherwise, airport transfer waiting time includes up to 60 minutes after actual landing time. Additional waiting time may be charged.

For non-airport pick-ups, waiting time may be charged after 15 minutes.

7. Cancellations

Unless agreed otherwise in writing, the following cancellation policy applies:

  • More than 48 hours before the service: no cancellation fee
  • 24 to 48 hours before the service: 50% of the agreed price
  • Less than 24 hours before the service: 100% of the agreed price
  • No-show: 100% of the agreed price

For bookings involving third-party services, such as guides, tickets or special vehicles, stricter cancellation terms may apply if those third parties charge cancellation fees.

8. Changes to a booking

Changes to date, time, route, pick-up location, drop-off location, number of passengers, vehicle type or itinerary are subject to availability.

Signature Drive will try to accommodate reasonable changes, but cannot guarantee availability.

Additional costs caused by changes may be charged to the client.

9. Passenger conduct

Passengers must behave respectfully and safely.

The following is not allowed in the vehicle, unless explicitly agreed:

  • Smoking
  • Vaping
  • Use of drugs
  • Aggressive or unsafe behaviour
  • Excessive alcohol consumption
  • Causing nuisance or damage
  • Carrying illegal items

The chauffeur may refuse or terminate the service if passenger behaviour is unsafe, unlawful, abusive or damaging.

In that case, the full booking amount remains payable.

10. Damage and cleaning

The client is responsible for damage caused by passengers to the vehicle, its interior or related property.

Additional cleaning costs may be charged in case of excessive dirt, stains, food or drink spills, sickness or other unusual cleaning requirements.

Damage, repair and cleaning costs will be charged based on actual costs incurred.

11. Luggage and personal belongings

Clients are responsible for their own luggage and personal belongings.

Signature Drive is not liable for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings, unless caused by intent or gross negligence by Signature Drive.

If lost property is found, Signature Drive will make reasonable efforts to return it.

12. Delays and force majeure

Signature Drive is not liable for delays, changes or failure to perform caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Traffic congestion
  • Road closures
  • Accidents
  • Weather conditions
  • Strikes
  • Public events
  • Police or government measures
  • Flight delays
  • Vehicle breakdown
  • Illness or emergency situations

Where possible, Signature Drive will try to find a reasonable alternative solution.

13. Vehicles and third-party partners

Signature Drive may use carefully selected third-party vehicle providers, chauffeurs, guides or other service partners.

A specific vehicle model may be requested, but cannot always be guaranteed unless explicitly confirmed in writing.

If the agreed vehicle is unavailable due to circumstances beyond Signature Drive’s control, Signature Drive may provide a comparable alternative where reasonably possible.

14. Professional guides and additional services

At the client’s request, Signature Drive may arrange a professional guide or other additional services.

Guides and third-party services are subject to availability.

Unless agreed otherwise, guide fees, tickets, meals, entrance fees and other third-party costs are charged separately or included in the agreed booking price.

Signature Drive is not responsible for changes, delays, cancellations or performance issues caused by third-party providers, except where required by law.

15. Client responsibility

The client is responsible for providing accurate and complete information, including:

  • Pick-up and drop-off locations
  • Contact details
  • Date and time
  • Flight or train details
  • Number of passengers
  • Luggage requirements
  • Accessibility needs
  • Relevant itinerary details

Costs caused by incorrect or incomplete information may be charged to the client.

16. Liability

Signature Drive will perform its services with reasonable care and professionalism.

To the extent permitted by law, Signature Drive’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant booking.

Signature Drive is not liable for indirect loss, consequential damage, loss of profit, missed flights, missed appointments or missed connections, unless caused by intent or gross negligence by Signature Drive.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits liability where such limitation is not allowed under applicable law.

17. Complaints

Complaints should be submitted as soon as possible by email to info@signaturedrive.nl.

Please include the booking date, service details and a clear description of the issue.

Signature Drive will review the complaint and respond within a reasonable period.

18. Privacy

Signature Drive processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy, available on the website.

19. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Dutch law.

Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
